forgot to update on the Update..


update's updates so far (god, this update needs a name)

  • Completely Reworked Stages

    • Solo Tails' Floating Egg

    • Solo Knuckles' Floating Egg

    • Metal Sonic's Space Base

  • Began Implementing a tiles drawing system

    What this system does is draw the tiles of the stages externally rather than from assets saved within the game itself, this helps with the memory consumption, as the game now draws tiles and backgrounds only when needed.

    I only implemented this system on the following stages:

    • Sonic's Angel Island

    • Tails' Green Hill

    • Knuckles' Hydrocity Zone

    • Knuckles' Hidden Palace

    • Eggman's Launch Base

    and so far the game requires only 1GB of memory, after I implement it for all stages, the required memory will be even lower!

P.S. I know this update didn't contain as much exciting things going on as the previous, and it took longer to come out, not to mention that I made all this a while back but was too busy to make a post it.
