for the past few days I worked on optimizing the game,
and adding some minor quality of life features
First I got the game to run on less than 1.5GB of memory it previously needed 2.5GB, which was a problem for a lot of people with low-end PCs
And fixed some sound issues that came along as a result
Then I added a configuration option, as you can see, to allow player to set up controls, volumes, and the resolution Which required a revise of the code, to make sure everything is compatible with that
I also re-made the game saving system, which previously saved the game in-between campaigns now It saves the progress at the beginning of each stage, so players can continue where they left off without having to do certain campaigns from the beginning
All of these are minor things I made before getting to the main reason I returned to this game in the first place.
I know that the biggest criticism of this game is the level design, and I have been thinking about it for months now
So I'm going to go back and tweak/ modify the majority, if not all of, the stages in this game and probably tweak certain other aspects of the game
so now I'm here to hear y'all suggestions on things to add and change :3
