I've been a lot more quiet about this project than I would've liked, and it's honestly because I've been struggling to come up with a solid narrative for the game.
The game's idea wasn't intentional, and I literally just plopped a Freddy model into Unity and started working on an AI system because I'd just watched the second movie. Basically it was just a tech demo (if you could even call it that) when I announced it.
Since the announcement, very little progress has been made. A small tutorial section was mapped out and has some relatively complete visuals, but a lot of the game is in very early stages.
SO BASICALLY:
The game isn't even close to complete or playable yet
No solid story
Very little progress in a month's time
This leads me to a couple ideas I have for the game. I'm thinking that it'll just be a very "here and there" project that I'll work on in between things. If I've got time where I'm not working on something more important then I'll come back to this.
More than likely it'll end up being something that never gets a full "1.0" release, since it's something that would take a very large amount of time and in all honesty isn't worth it due to the fact I can't make money from it (not that I've made any with previous projects, but that's the goal moving forward).
TLDR (with a little more info):
There will be large gaps between updates & no guarantee that this will ever be a completed project. Promotion will only be present on GameJolt and I'm going to narrow the scope a little bit. Deeper gameplay mechanics than Senior Sunset but less of a narrative.
