Friends & Nightmares [2nd Devlog]

-Added and removed mechanics-


Added mechanics

Camera motion sensors: Motion sensors will be used as a method to spot the animatronics' movements on the cameras. As they can usually be lurking in darker areas, making them harder to locate and slow down.

The system is not 100% assured to work during the nights and it may even go off as a false alarm.


Manual camera scrolling: Two big arrows have been added at the top-center of your camera screen. Holding on them will make the camera move from left to right (I'm considering to add an up and down movement).


Minigames before the night: A series of 6 minigames has been added to fulfill your hearts with fun and joy before the beginning of your inevitable doom!


Price corner: At the end of every shift you will receive a paycheck of around 30 in-game dollars. They can be used to buy accessories for your desk and office, such as: mini figures, stickers, plushies, posters, etc...

The paycheck will reduce it's value depending on how much power you use throughout the night.

Removed mechanics

Second tab: A second tab was supported to be present on your computer. Switching on it will make the camera map appear, along with a list of all the cameras on the left of the screen.

The reason of why it was scrapped is because it made the game too slow and annoying.

Hi, sorry for the random inactivity, I'm focusing on irl issues and couldn't find the time to work on the game for a bit. Most progress is being done during the short windows of time I manage to stay alone with myself without any disruption/distractions.

This was probably one of the more requested and wished for features I've seen from the demo but now there's an Undo and Redo option in the game!

The Tiles and Objects have their own individual undo and redo lists.

Major reveal coming very soon...
