Frontier Maintenance Work, Step 3


Dear Shipmates,

The work for maintaining ships' frontiers is finally complete! Here's a video showcasing the last step in the development of these algorithms:

These have been quite a few exhausting weeks, designing the various frontier algorithms, coding them, testing the results, and optimizing the code. We are so tired now that we've decided to have a little "vacation" and code away a new, funny feature that has been on the Floating Sandbox wishlist for a long time. We're not going to disclose much at this moment, but let's just stay that it's a feature which, technically, has little to do with sinking ships...

We'll probably post a teaser once the "vacation" is over and we're ready to start working on hydrodynamics.

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
