So as you see by the title, I’m gonna be discussing what’s to come next and also some meaning if that’s how you can call it.
So starting off, I’ve been using ClickTeam Fusion for around a year, and since then it’s definitely gained my interest in game making.
I’ve always had ideas for an FNaF Fangame but mostly I’ve never been able to create the game that I imagine, either because I lose motivation or the ideas don’t work which then leads to losing motivation into finding another way. I know that’s the worse thing to do, but I do plan on making a full One Night FNaF Game, maybe I’ll show something off soon ;)
Now a little bit of discussion but also some future plans.
So my first game I wanted to create was The Night at Freddy’s, at the time I had many ideas and I was close to making my first full FNaF Fangame, all I had to do was to finish making the Night with AI, and cameras and I would have finished it all. But then I encountered a bug which was a big problem and so I would have to start the whole Night from scratch and I didn’t want to do it and so I lost motivation into finishing the game off and so I left it, and decided to upload the unfinished version for people who were interested in what the game was going to be like.
So now with my latest and first finished FNaF Fangame or well reskin I guess.
It got some popularity, mostly because IULITM recorded gameplay of it which I didn’t really expect but since then, it’s gotten quite some popular but not as much as a game like FNaC or FN. But I never try to make a game to be popular, I only do it to see what I can make for a future job like working at a game studio or something like that.
Now for future plans, also don’t want this devlog to be too long so I’ll make it quick.
I’ve planned 2 games, one I may start from scratch and the other game I’ve paused but I hope to get at least something out by the beginning of next year or so, as of right now I’ve been taking a break from developing any game.
Will FWP (Fun with Puppet) get a sequel?
Now I’ve been asked this question and in honestly, I never really planned for a second game, I have had ideas and if I do make sequel, I’ll try to be more original and make it better then the first game which honestly felt like a disappointing game with bad AI, which made the game easy to win, quick and boring and it felt very bland, it was made as a special game for Halloween but I did work on it quite late which I then had to rush, which means I can’t promise release dates otherwise they just make developing 10x worse.
