Game Jam Build Notes


The build for the gamejam is locked, so I’ll record any known bugs/missing features here for public reference. Post voting/lock I’ll drop an update with this fixes/additions.

Bugs:

  • Music will play over itself if you return to the main menu and then go back into the game.

  • O2 canisters do not add to your current score when collected.

Missing Features:

  • Guest users cannot currently to upload scores to the leaderboards.

  • In game login screen instead of the cheap popups currently used.

  • No particles currently exist. I totally wanted particles.

  • No scanlines/arcade CRT shader.

  • Levels don’t change backgrounds.

  • Easier to read controls screen.

  • Option to mute the sounds/music.

  • Context sensitive screams.

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.

Hello my space friends! Now I added a space background to the ship. I love that space look but I still feel like stuff is missing. The lighting on the ship needs some improvements I think. Please tell me your opinion!

Ladies & gentlemen.. The Blender logo factory! I had a ton of un making this animation. I'll be making a short tutorial on picking up/dropping object in Blender for animations next week! What do you think?
