Game Jolt has a fancy new content editor!

Remember when we forced you to learn Markdown to edit your post?

All that knowledge, all that experience…

Well, put it on your resume, because you don't need Markdown on Game Jolt anymore!

Game Jolt has a fancy new content editor!

When composing a long-form, article-style post, you can now mention other users, add images, code blocks, and so much more by clicking the circular Add Content button.

Add images/gifs, embeds, code blocks, quotes, spoilers, separators, bulleted lists, numbered lists with ease.

The embeds support YouTube, Sketchfab, and SoundCloud integration currently, so just drop a link for your tunes, videos and 3D models.

Text Editor

Highlight a word or sentence for basic text editing options like bold, italics, strike-through, link, code and set heading text. (yes, you can even use keyboard shortcuts!)

You can also use these edits when leaving comments and shouts, and while editing your game description and user bio!

Tag Users

Mention friends and team mates to tag them on your posts or include them in your game's description.

We hope you enjoy this new update. The new content editor will help the site run more efficiently and speed up those load times. It's an all-around win!
