Game's post mortem - aka why I quit developing the game.

It has been several years since I published the game in it's raw state as it is. I feel like I owe those who are interested an explanation as to what happened.
Simply put, I lost the source files, and the engine's license I had at the time has long expired since.

While Construct 2 was amazing tool that did allow me to achieve my goals with relative ease, there was the fact that it is indeed a proprietary piece of software. While the pricing model is affordable even for a hobbyists, there is the inevitable reality that eventually this tool would be surpassed as it's developer moves on to new project. Construct 3 is the evidence of that.

Why not re-create game in another engine?
- I did think of that. If I still had the assets I probably would do that as well. But since then my focus has shifted elsewhere and put my gamedev endeavors on backburner for time being.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

Strange Umbrella

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

Today I tackled drawing different variations of facial expressions for one of the main characters in Eden. What do you think of it? :) Eden: https://gamejolt.com/games/Eden/592698

If you have more of an acquired taste, the restaurants in Niravasi have you covered! Maybe skip the salad bar, though.

Levels' maps.

I mostly build 3D First Person Shooter game mechanics in Unity, and in this I'm just showing C4 mechanics I made for a little side project I am working on! :)
