Game Update 1.4


A new update has been released for HECKTIC, the changes are as follows:

All Platforms:

>Added the settings menu

   >Selectable on the main menu

   >Includes the following features:

      >Adjust the game's volume

      >Adjust the game's resolution (Windows/Mac OS/Linux only)

      >An option that toggles controller mode

      >An option to toggle fullscreen

>Updated controller configuration:

   >Changed the run button to right trigger (was previously west button)

   >Changed powerup use to west button (was previously east button)

>Updated the idle animation for Chum

>You can now move while shrinking back to normal after a giant powerup expires

>Changed the amount of lives you have in offline mode to 5 (was previously infinite)

>The game now runs in the background

>Made backend changes to improve stability

>Fixed not destroying powerup objects upon starting a new round

>Fixed instances of powerups being able to collide with McGuffins

>Fixed the wallslide not functioning correctly while playing as Bryngles

>Fixed lost McGuffins not being able to cross the level loop

>Fixed enemies still being able to move after a round has ended

WebGL changes:

>Updated the game's default canvas size

(Note: The WebGL version is only playable on mrlewispaite.itch.io/hecktic)
