Hey everyone, I thought I’d make an update regarding the game’s progress and release date! Progress is going great so far! I’m just trying to make sure there aren’t hundreds of bugs, to make it an overall better experience than NN (Nightmare Nights).
I’m also working on making sure it isn’t ridiculously difficult like NN, however, I still want the game to be challenging! Otherwise it’d be too easy! That’d make it a bit boring, and it would take the fun out of the game. I’m trying to make sure it’s balanced though since NN was insanely unfair.
Also! There’s now a tutorial night in the game already, which should help the player learn the mechanics better!
For the release date I’m hoping that I can get it done around April time (or even earlier depending on progress). I can’t pinpoint a specific date at the moment though. I think it’d be easier if I just say that month for now! When it comes closer to the time I’ll let you all know when the release date is!
The trailer/teaser trailer should be coming really soon, hopefully within the next week or so! So stay tuned for that!
Also, I had some questions for you all.
Should I post some game-play images today? Or, should I wait until I’ve made the trailer?
Would you like to see NN’s nightmare characters as an extras option in the game (a NN challenge mode)? They won’t have anything to do with the story, of course, but I thought seeing them return might be a cool idea!
