It's been a while, so let's talk about current progress.
First off, we recently finished making the new intro of the game contextualizing the story a bit more. This isn't live yet. In fact, we're mostly planning on keeping it out of the public build for a while, at least until Hanaru Village is added.
With the Intro done, we can start adding the first 'dungeon' of the game, the Underworld, where the Player's journey truly starts. We've got some great new ideas for this older concept, and once it's done, we'll be developing Hanaru and its story. Once we get the Hanaru stuff sorted, we finally can link this new content into the Tech Demo.
On that note however, this will be likely one of the last major changes to the Tech Demo before we begin work on the last stage of the Story Demo development. We'll then start work on the full version of the Sacred Valley story, involving the implementation of two full dungeons and accompanying story arcs. Completing these means the completion of the Story Demo's story itself.
We'll be doing more than just that, working on furthering what the final product will look like, and getting a more unique feel for the game going.
