Getting pushed around can be frustrating, especially when deadly lasers and enemies surround you. Beware of currents that hinder your movement. #gamedev #indiedev #retro #spaceshooter

It’s been a while since we last showed some of the cool technologies you’ll be able to use in Hello Space. The gravitation core is a powerful tool that lets you move objects like asteroids. Use it to clear the way or transport something from A to B.

An eerie darkness has crept into certain worlds. Navigate these areas with caution, and use solar cubes to illuminate your surroundings. #gamedev #indiedev #spaceshooter #retro

Not every enemy flies through space; some hold stationary positions to attack your ship. Blaster and phaser turrets can track your movements and fire endlessly, even using radiation to boost their attacks. #gamedev #indiedev #spaceshoot #retro

Ever wondered where the Insectoids come from? Apparently, eggs. Be careful not to crash into them, as they drain your energy shield to accelerate the hatching process. Maybe there's another way to destroy them... a less dangerous one... #spaceshooter

While we are in the midst of implementing World 2 in the game, we have already finished the design of World 3, which includes new mechanics such as neutron beams, darkness/light sources, turrets and more!

Exploring space with a lousy ship drive doesn’t sound like much fun, does it? Well, face off against traps and enemies in the arena to earn upgraded versions of your drive that improve your ship’s agility.

In our game, you will find different weapons, one of which - the phaser - lets you shoot projectiles that bounce off different objects. Be prepared to solve puzzles as well as destroy enemies using this weapon.

With World 1 being a mining site, it’s only natural that World 2 is a galactic forge. In their relentless effort to crush minerals, the facilities there produce shockwaves that will damage your ship and immobilize it for a short period of time.

With new features such as weapon mods and ship drives we had to adjust our existing ship systems menu a bit. Now it offers more information on technologies and the possibility to switch between mods and drives.

There are many obstacles to overcome on your journey. Sometimes it can be something as simple as space thrash held together by a magnetic force. We call it “Electromagnetic Debris.” #gamedev #indiedev #retro #spaceshooter
