Getting started with Game Jolt

Welcome to the Convicted Galaxy

Convicted Galaxy is a sci-fi prison break action game combining aspects of rogue-lite and shoot ’em up sub-genres with a third person perspective.

We are currently in Early Access and many changes are planned before we release. Hopefully our Early Access stent will be short and sweet. We began Early Access in the beginning of February and are shooting to be ready for our initial full release sometime in May. We have no set date yet and if we feel a May release will degrade the quality of the desired game, we may push beyond that. We want to launch our game so that you can get the full experience as soon as possible, but we also want it to be the best experience possible.

Us three developers (Aaron, Kevin and Ryan), aka Mind Grown Software, began work on the current game in January of 2016. We have tried to work on the game full time, but to stay afloat we do odd jobs here and there when the opportunity presents itself. We are always open to feedback, as we believe that it is necessary to build a better product. Come join us in our public discord channel and let us know what you think.

First DevLog?

Not quite. We’ve been doing our “official” devlog through TigSource for some time now, but we have been slacking a bit while working on updated builds. As we are most likely going to start building to Game Jolt, I figured this might be a more reliable place for us to write down what is going on with development, as it will be in our faces when we build :)
