Welcome to our first summary of the week. Here's what we managed to get done:
1. New settings
The new settings are similar to the old ones from the demo version, except improved and with new ones added. One of the new settings added is shading, which allows you to adjust shader settings. It'll definitely help those who struggle with frequent FPS drops.
2. New atmosphere in location 4
After having to restore everything we had lost in every individual level, we decided to look at location 4 through a different lense. We decided to remaster the lighting there and now it's more optimized and, more importantly, gives the place a better atmosphere.
3. Ending
Half of the True Ending is finished, although we're not going to spoil anything (it's a surprise), we can say the cutscene looks 5 times better than it did.
4. Optimization
The optimization is better than ever, now running 90 - 110 FPS in all levels, compared to the awful 50 FPS it used to be before.
That's all for now. As you can see, for just one week we managed to fix quite much, though there's still a lot to go. But at least we're starting off strong!
