I understand they need to make money. I use to run a social media site and it cost a lot to maintain it and to get new featured added and all, and I know they want to be more of a social site. But they need to focus on their community more. The site does feel more like it is becoming a pay to win place.
Ive seen users complain a lot about the Joltbucks and coins. You could easily put like watch an ad to earn Joltbucks. That way both parties earn money. Well you the company will and the user will get something from it. Maybe add in more things to be bought with coins as well? You do know most their user base are kids right? Do kids have a lot of money? Do they earn that much as an allowance? I never did when I was kid. (thats just me tho)
What made me mad about their post is one they did delete a lot of comments that were there to help and point out the issues, but they don't listen. The other thing is how they replied in the comments. How they worded things, and using the official account. Do they not have a Mod account or Support account or something like that and only use their Staff account?
Speaking of other departments in a way do they even have a Mod team, or have a forum or support page for things? Yeah its just a email.. (I sure hope this email finds you well if you even read it)
This company might be small but they have been around since 2003. They have had many years to add these basic support things in place and safety and all before you want to sell out for a ton of money to help the site grow more and all.
Its also upsetting that they have shadowed banned and taken away some creators badge and all. I was thinking of joining it once I could, but I might not. Unless big changes are going to take place here. Not just for creators, but for the safety of all!
I'm surprised they haven't consider a GJ+ where you can pay a monthly fee to stop ads, give a little boost to be seen more, get double stuff from quests. Something. I know another subscription to something is a lot, but only do it if one they make a good system with it and if you want to support the platform and all. I myself only pay for things I use a lot of, or really want to support. I probably would pay for a GJ+. Maybe not right now since I am broke, but also whats been going on.
GJ please listen to your users, please put in better system. Epically if trolls are coming here and sharing a lot of gore, vore, and other nasty things. Again, you do know a lot of kids are here right? Please in better mod filters and all.
