That was a hard pick, so I had to hunt for some 1980's animated films. I'd have to say Daffy Duck's Quackbusters. It's one of those Looney Tunes compilation movies, but each of the separate cartoon episodes it takes segments from could be levels, and the scenes unique to the movie itself could either be cutscenes or boss battles, depending on context.
