GNTest development log


Hey guys, here's an update regarding the Pre-Alpha of Goodbye Neighbour:

  • Player house replaced with the HN Pre-Alpha house

  • Inventory system completely remade from scratch, now with more options.

  • Cameras and Exit Signs now can be picked up only after being interacted with.

  • Neighbor AI is being remade, and as of now doesn't do much, other than doing his exercises and chasing you.

  • Added a few more cutscenes, to make the gameplay a bit less boring.

  • Added the lamp and bulb mechanic from the HN Prototype


What we are planning to add:

  • Neighbor placing cameras and traps without keypoints

  • Throwing items

  • Fixing the lamp mechanic from the prototype that we recently added, since it's really buggy

  • Better basement section

  • Actually modeled house, instead of making it with box brushes.

  • Better lighting

  • Item bobbing
