Greetings followers, development is going great.
Reworked neighborhood: The player and neighbor houses are now more distant, there's a road between them, the electricity poles are now in the whole landscape and we finally placed the "background" houses.
More advanced Neighbor AI: The neighbor now pushes items in front on his way just like in the pre-alpha and he should jump when he can't reach any target (Still work in progress, yesterday he ended up flying instead of jumping).
These are the mechanics we will try to make or polish for the next devlog:
Neighbor AI finally jumping normally.
Neighbor detecting doors or items he didn't interact with.
Level not restarting, instead just teleporting the player in his house (without messing up the player's view) and the neighbor in a random room.
Fixing the daylight cycle mechanic (the code works, but the skybox doesn't actually change) and changing light color / outside ambience when the time changes.
Fixing the lamp and bulb mechanic not fully working.
Add trashcan flying because why not?
More out of bounds secrets.
Player crouching. Right now the camera view is only moved, so the collision doesn't change.
That's it for now, I will soon make High Quality screenshots (Finally I can make them with cinematic graphics) for the neighborhood and some neighbor house keyart too.
