It's been a year since i released Golden Disaster,to a controversial release to put it "lightly". It's defintely my least popular and most hated game i've made so far,not without reason of course.
So for it's anniversary,what better way to "celebrate" than have a look back at the game that got me banned?
GD was made after playing through KE0,a desire to do my own take on a Golden Edition style game came to mind from it
I however wanted to do my own "spin" on the fredbear and springbonnie dynamic,mainly because i grew tired of the usual "springbonnie bad,fredbear good" dyanmic these two have
So,the idea of fredbear being this abusive monster came to mind
GD was made during a rough patch of my life,to some degree all of my games have been made during a rough patch but GD/AEN are espically true
Fredbears personality comes as a reflection of the own abusive and horrible relationships i've been through and the general tropes i've had noticed from them,the humor mainly coming from well "how far can i push fredbear?" which resulted in a lot of people either being disturbed or calling the game Edgy,some going as far to say it's as bad as CAE
I know a lot of people generally dislike/hate the game mainly because of Fredbears exstience alongside the now removed content from the devlog but from my own experience,horrible people don't put on a mask or act nice. they're just asshole/depraved people who beat people down to feel superior/good.
The alcoholism also came from that,it might not be how you experienced it but it was the usual dilema i would go through
abusive people who drink their sorrows away because they have a miserable life,fredbear is a martyr of all the abusive people i knew and delt with ultimately resulting in making a actual monster
i also felt it would just be nice for what any other game would just be usual fnafb tomfoolery to be treated seriously and not a laughing matter
The game defintely got too personal for its own good and i have defintely pushed the boundries of what is a "FNAFB" game and isn't but i don't regret making it or releasing it for that matter
To me,GD is a game about standing up to your abuser and starting a new life,breaking the cycle of the abuse and finally being free from the torrmentor as you can now be a happy person.
Springbonnie is a person who stayed by fredbear side feeling like he can't leave him,in the end he realized he always had the choice
Throughout all his pain and misery,he ultimately stood strong and fought for his own sake too
and i think that's beautiful
In the end i put a lot of time,tears and emotions into the game
it might've ultimately turned out to be my "blacksheep" equivalent but i love it regardless because in the end i made a game i can look back on and be happy about for once
in the end,i want to keep going and keep telling the stories i want to tell even if they become hated because i know at least one person will care for it
Outside of a retrospective,i have a rather big annoucement
that being of...the game getting a 2.0 update sometime next year!
So,what does the 2.0 update include?
First off,the level cap has been raised to 30 alongside now having two trinket slots this should result in a smoother enough experience

Additionally,new trinkets have been added from the new boss rush arena known as the Hospital

The Boss rush rewards are additional passives for fredbear & spap alongside a unqie trinket for your build maxing pleasure
Alongside this,you also get new bosses!

They are primarily the cut content that never made it into the base release sadly,this also means proud mode will have a lot more difference to it than the normal game (:

Alongside this,the once cut cock pit will make a return
here you can choose a chicken to play as and fight in its own "career" as you do a boss rush with said chicken,between bosses you get choices of what stats to increase.
The cock pit gives additional alt equipment and trinkets as rewards,
on top of star points and tokens to be used!
Before i leave you with the big,important reveal for last

the game will also have Trophies for its 2.0 update,
nothing really noteworthy but i thought it was neat.
The big reveal is that there'll be two additional scenarios!
The prolouge is rather small and not really note worthy,
the Epilouge however will basically be the equivalent of its own game
starting Vile!
