Hey everyone,

I hope you're all doing well. I wanted to share an important update with you. As many of you know, I am a young media/software creator currently studying games design in college. I am turning 17 years old this year, and I've decided it's time to move away from Game Jolt to take my "career" more seriously.

Why I'm Leaving: Over the years, I've shared a lot of content on this platform, some of which I now consider cringey or not representative of the direction I want my career to take. It's time for a fresh start, and that means cutting ties with some of my embarrassing posts and mediocre projects. I'll be archiving and deleting a lot of the older content, so you might notice some changes on my profile.

What's Happening:

  • Post Removal: I'll be removing various posts to streamline my profile, most old art will go on my Patreon for archival reasons, memes etc will be deleted outright. Feel free to also point me towards any cringey comments I've made on any particular posts

  • Game Delisting: Some of my games will no longer be discoverable on Game Jolt, those with a link to the game can still download it, and I will make my backlog available on Patreon or Steam if it is high quality. I'll be putting the following games on Steam for sure:

    1. Corkscrew (It's already on there)

    2. Horizons (If I dont cancel it), this game probably will not be out until 2030 or something, Corkscrew has taken too much energy, I'll still be making a few games between Corkscrew and Horizons, but for true passion projects, Corkscrew will be the last for a long while before I even consider finishing Horizons.

All the other games will either be transferred to new owners, archived on Patreon or Internet Archive, or deleted.

  • Leaving the Platform: For now I'm just going to minimise my posting significantly (still have a few Game Jolt related ideas up my sleeve), but by the time I'm finished with the delisting/removal process, I won't be uploading any posts or serious games/projects to Game Jolt going forward. Instead, you can find my work on Steam, GlobalComix, and other platforms.

Where to Find Me: For those who still want to keep up with me and projects, you can find me on 𝕏, where I am most active. I have links in my bio.

Thank You: I want to extend a massive thank you to everyone who has supported me on this platform. The feedback, interactions, and support have meant a lot to me.

Best wishes,

Charlie

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.
