Gun quirks!

I've made changes to a few guns to make them more satisfying to use.

Also, you may notice the shop has a pair of training dummies to try your new gear on.

Rotoblaster: The first shot always fires perfectly straight with no scatter. This should be handy for sniping small flying enemies.

Scattergun: Can be fired twice in a row before its long-ish cooldown period. This makes it perfect for quick burst damage in a hit-and-run strategy.

Pistols: The targeting reticule for the charged sniper shot now appears before you fire, so you know what you're aiming at.

Cannon: The beam shot now inflicts damage over time, so you have to keep it trained on the enemy to do the full amount of damage. To compensate, the uncharged shot is also more powerful.

Gatling: This didn't change recently, but I never got around to showing it off earlier. Demonstration GIF coming this weekend. Promise.

Avast! Space pirates!

And what's a captain without his crew? These scoundrels will be among the first to make life difficult for you in Phase 3.

Hmm, what was that someone said about backstabbing?

I thought the escape sequence in Chapter 2 didn't have enough urgency to it, so I spiced it up a little.

I also wrote a new song to go with it!

Keep an eye out for this in the next update, coming... whenever I feel like it.

Sure has been a while since I posted something new, huh? Well, that's because I've been working on something big (that, and bugfixing).

Here's a little preview of that something!

Happy New Year!

It's been a while since I last posted, but I've still been hard at work with the first chapter of Kodon's story.

And to show for it, we have this stylish fellow - he may be slippery, but he's no match for Kodon's homing shot!

There's something off about this room.

Almost as if we've entered a new dimension - a THIRD dimension.

Anyway, Construct 3 has had 3D features for a while and I decided to play with them a little. What do you think? Cool effect? Too jarring?

More underwater friends :)

Rejoice! The jankiest puzzle in the game has been re-done.

It's still a little fiddly, but now the boulder's less likely to do screwy things like get stuck on a platform, or teleport you to the side on touch.

Egad, what's with all the enemies popping out of the walls lately? Can't you all just sit out in the open like proper gentlemen?

Sweet victory.

Kodon's prologue level is DONE! That's milestone 1 of 4 for completing Phase 3 and reaching Crucible's final release.

Stay tuned for more news in the coming months!
