Guppy’s Mystery - Devlog Update | 30th January 2025

Hey everyone!

Kuba here! It’s been a little while since my last update, and I want to sincerely apologize for being so quiet. Life’s been pretty busy with work and other responsibilities, and it’s been hard to balance everything with the game development. But don’t worry—Guppy’s Mystery is still progressing, and I’ve been working hard behind the scenes.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve spent a lot of time brainstorming and refining the story. There have been so many ideas bouncing around in my head, and I’ve been working hard to weave them all together to make the experience as immersive and terrifying as possible. Some ideas have evolved, and others have been put on hold, but rest assured, I’ve been carefully crafting each part of the game to enhance the atmosphere and make sure every detail serves the narrative.

I know you’ve been waiting for updates, and I appreciate your patience. I can’t reveal too much yet, but things are starting to come together in exciting ways. The atmosphere is growing darker, and everything is building toward something that will really test your nerves. Things aren’t going to go as expected, and I’m making sure that every detail adds to the tension.

I want to thank everyone who’s been supporting the game so far. Your feedback and enthusiasm mean a lot, and I’m doing my best to make Guppy’s Mystery the best experience it can be. It’s a journey, and while it may take some time, it’s going to be worth it.

Feel free to give me any ideas or questions you might have! Your input always helps, and I love hearing from the community.

Thanks again for sticking with me, and stay tuned. The journey is far from over...

One week of progress! 🎉 I’m really proud of what I managed to build in such a short time even while working a full-time job. Can’t wait to keep going! #gamedev #blender #indiedev

Here’s a little progress shot from Guppy’s Mystery I modeled Mike’s table and chairs for his apartment. nothing fancy just the kind of cheap old furniture you’d expect in a run down place Of course, I had to test the legendary Blender Guru Donuts on top

I recently made some props for @SUPERF0X66 ’s game Warehouse of Horror. Including crates, lockers and ladders. Here’s a hallway render showing them in context.
