Looks around as he enters the blog and takes a long look at the empty space
Scary… no need to tell you there, but this is my first step into the world of game development. waves hand and looks to the left and right through the emptiness
A one-man-army (that sounded better when Solid Snake said it in Metal Gear) team that consists of… well, me. By education, I am an architect that has been fascinated with games ever since my first game when I was 6, Ping Pong on the Atari.
I have been in the shadows of the indie world for almost 4 years now but have never done anything that is worth mentioning and was focusing on trying to acquire as much knowledge as possible.
Now that I think I am ready, I am jumping into the lights and starting my own games; aiming to care about story and experience. In other words, fun with a meaning!
No, no, don’t get me wrong… It isn’t those educational games where you add 2+5 = 7 and you get a congratulations! screen (though nothing wrong with that too, I guess). But rather that the fun you have would get you thinking about a concept or a phenomen or perhaps offer a fresh perpective on a different topics.
My first endeavor would be A Quest of Life; a work in progress game about a toy that woke up to an almost empty and destroyed world around him. It is up to you to find out what happened and why did you come to life in the first place.
