Hacking 101

Hacking 101

This is a game I made for a week long competition over at Indiegamemag.com

The theme for the competition was “cliche”. So I decided to base a game off the movie cliche where all the hero has to do to hack into a computer is pound away at the keyboard.

This game is kind of a “typing” game I guess you could say. But it really has very little to do with actual typing.

To play the game simply pound away at the keyboard. Don’t worry about typing words or sentences or anything like that. Just “type”.

But when the light turns red, any key you press will decrease your score by 500 points, so watch out. When the light turns red press enter to turn it back to green.

This game supports GameJolt highscores.

Well I hope you enjoy the game.
(oh btw, try not to smash your keyboard, you don’t get points for how hard you hit the keys :P )

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

Showing off player 2 😎

What do you think?

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.

not the greatest house, but it's a house! :D
