Happy Halloween! It's been a while since the last update so better late than never. To celebrate today, we bring you a special demo of the game! This contains both the Main and Custom Night sections of 1R+ with challenges, along with a settings menu.
Since this will be the first public build of 1R+, we've decided to describe stuff about the project as a whole below, including updates about development so far:
What's changed between 1R and 1R+?
Apart from the obvious graphical update that we've been teasing for a few months now, there are also a bunch of changes done to the sound aspect. The FNAF1-2 sound effects and ambiences have been completely replaced by new, less extravagant compositions from various online artists. The routes of the active animatronics have also been tweaked a bit to be less confusing and make much more sense to players, including small changes like Freddy now being vulnerable to the mask and a new way to fend off Golden Freddy. The UI received a similar treatment to be a bit more minimalistic and pleasing to the eyes. There's obviously more inside the build but I don't think we should spoil too much.
Though if we were to talk about spotting a few easter eggs, I'd say cameras 01, 02, 2B, 04, 06, 07, and 08 should be of your interest...
Why does my antivirus/browser recognize this game as a threat?
For those of you worried about a supposed virus or spyware detected in this game, don't worry it's a false alarm. Most Clickteam games have this issue, actually. Here's a little link for more info: https://community.clickteam.com/threads/102482-How-to-prevent-fusion-games-to-be-detected-as-virus
Why's the game been taking so long?
Apart from the obvious reasons that involve having other obligations than developing a FNAF Fan-Game such as school/having a job, there's also been a lot of trouble internally between the team as of late. A few months ago the original programmer gradually stopped working on the game, and one day expressed to the other members that it was better if he quitted; we found another programmer and promised to keep contact with us, but that ended up not happening. The newer guy promised he would do stuff once he was done with his, but even after that he hadn't done anything to the source code apart from fixing a blur, delaying several months of development even further. Fortunetly, we stumbled upon a reliable guy, @Senhor1, who still has a lot of trouble deciphering the original guy's code.
It's really hard to work on a game in these conditions and it's possible that, without much assistance, it will take a bit longer to finish the update. We hope you can understand.
Thank you all for your support, and we hope you enjoy the demo!
*Be sure to report any bugs/things you think could be polished by the way
