Halo UE4 Fan Project FORGE BUILDs now OUT!

An older build is also available on the page too (has a cut map not in the main build), along with media dumps!

Do expect some unfinished things, jank and some placeholder assets etc unfortunately,

the truth is (the main build of 10 GB) was never meant to be the final released version of my project, or even be released publicly either to begin with...

So I hope you can forgive some of the jank, few placeholder assets and not fully cleaned up project files etc...

Definitely a lot of things I would've improved, tweaked etc if I were still working on the game and planning to release something finished publicly

(gameplay jank/limits, sound effects mixing like many sounds needing to be more loud or quiet, proper VR "mod", and better AIs with proper FireFight or other Survival Mode and special Forge mechanics to go with them... Things within my capabilities at the time to make it an overall better product on its own for people to properly enjoy and not just mess around in)

More explanation on why things are this way;

There was no denying the state of the Halo franchise after Infinite sadly, at that point around 2021 I started moving on from Halo slowly but surely,

Already being a huge fan of RE and OG RE4, I was VERY excited for the VR version of OG RE4 (I was mad it was a Quest exclusive, but I still played it on a Quest 1 sideloaded soon after it came out, and got a Quest 2 when Mercenaries came out since that didn't work on Quest 1...)

I was playing that VR version like crazy, and with the rumors and leaks of the remake on the horizon, I just did not have the mindset anymore to work on this Halo project...

And now, since then, I've been modding RE games for fun! From OG RE4 (UHD, VR etc), to the remake, and other RE engine RE games too!

For my FNaF fans out there seeing this, here's some fun facts:

The Forge in this project was an evolved version of a Level Editor I made for a FNaF Multiplayer fan game (The one I included in a FNaF 1 Remake as a secret long ago, which had a better FNaF 2 Pizzeria map remake and more... whole other rabbit hole I'm not gonna talk much about today sorry)

and a lot of the FPS mechanics were also evolved versions of the ones I made for Fazbear's Shootout!
