Pamela and her Father:
When entering Ikana Canyon for the first time, it's a barren wasteland with no water and eerie music. You see a lonely house with gramophones attached to the house and it has a water wheel, but there is no water because the riverbed is dried up. There were a bunch of Gibdos surrounding the house.
I tried knocking on the door, but a little girl tells me to go away and thinks I'm a Gibdo behind the door since there are Gibdos surrounding the house. I had to restore the river and have the water flow through the waterwheel in order to have the music to play and ward off the Gibdos.
Pamela goes outside to inspect that there are no Gibdos lurking around. I sneak into the house without her noticing me. As I was checking around the house, I notice a cabinet that had a bunch of talismans covered on it. I open the cabinet and Pamela's father comes out of it. He's moaning and he is half-transformed into a Gibdo. I played the song of healing to cure him of his curse and the Gibdo masks falls onto the ground. Pamela's father has no memories as to what happened. Pamela comes rushing in and hugs him. Telling her father that it was all just a bad dream.
Later on, when you revisit the house, Pamela's father tells you that he was studying Gibdos down in the well. He got bitten by one and that's why he was partially transformed. That's also why there were Gibdos hanging around the house. Pamela somehow managed to keep her father from going outside and she placed him into the cabinet. It was a heartwarming scene to see Pamela hugging her father and seeing him back to normal.
