Here we are, one year of Demolitale! I can’t believe how fast time flies by. Not only am I here to tell you about DT’s first birthday, but I also have some astounding news to tell you! Just today, I was informed by Demolitale Brown Director Purrsum that his engine is, for the most part, complete! We can begin work on a Demolitale alpha with ease now, and all the other DT games can get some love as well, as the engine will be shared among all three titles.
As it is a big occasion, as usual, my sister CactusFries drew a little something for this special moment in time! Thank you so much, I really appreciate it. : )

Sunny in this image is depicted as a female, while their canonical gender still remains anonymous. Just letting you know in case you were thinking!
I’d like to take this last section of the devlog to mention that two days from now- on May 13th- is Discord’s 3rd birthday! Discord is a really hard to describe chatroom platform designed for gamers, and can be used for many different purposes. Without Discord, Demolitale, and even other games like Undertale Yellow, Royal Bones: Faded Failure, Undertale: True Genocide, Undertale: The Void Soul, and so much more couldn’t be developed at all, or at least very easily. Discord has done so much for our little community, and as stated before, I want to dedicate a part of this devlog to thank Discord and wish it a Happy Birthday.
Want to help in wishing this wonderful masterpiece of software a happy birthday? Join the Discord server for Project Blurple here: https://discord.gg/qEmKyCf
Want to check out Demolitale’s own Discord server, interact with the community and devs alike, receiving early or exclusive sneak peeks? Join our Discord server here: https://discord.gg/CBm4nD
This server serves as the home for all three Demolitale games, community and development. We hope to see you there!
Aaaand here’s the end of our devlog! Since you’re here, thank you for reading all the way through, it means a lot! Like I said before, I can’t believe how much time has passed, how many people I have been privileged to meet, the good moments in time I got to share, and all the progress (not including programming, since that’s been a mess until recently) we’ve made. Thank you, community, and thank you, devs for making this first year more than less a good one. Thank you, reader, for following the development of Demolitale and its sibling titles, and I will see you in the next devlog/minilog!
