Hard at Work

Hey enragement children! I’m back with another Walking Dong update.

So, a lot of the features requested have been put in, and the game is coming along nicely. A new boss battle and Mangle as a recruitable character have been added to the game, and there are going to be two side quests to complete very soon.

I have not update the distribution on the game’s page because I’m unsure of wheter to keep a constant demo update going. Regardless, I play to release the full Toy storyline as a full demo once it is finished and wait to post again until the whole game is complete.

What are your thoughts? I also have a few questions:

  • Should there be lots of sidequests or few?

  • Should there be lots of looting?

  • Should there be loads of secret bosses or few?

Leave your opinions below, because I love hearing them!

Inhale!

Runestones: from concept to in-game model🗿

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

If you have more of an acquired taste, the restaurants in Niravasi have you covered! Maybe skip the salad bar, though.

Out of boredom and curiosity, I coded Sailor Jupiter's Argentine Backbreaker.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
