Happy New Year, our Hardcore People!
Last year we’ve created three prototypes of HASTE to show you how we see our game working and even passed through the Steam Greenlight.
This year we will be working on the full game.
We will improve everything you love about our game. We will fix or cut away everything you dislike about our game. But even though we now have the rights to sell HASTE on Steam, we won’t do that unless we are absolutely sure, that the new features and goodies blow your mind.
Game development is hard thing - you have to put your imagination into the creation of an interactive movie and hope that people like it. I won’t lie if say, that if our crowdfunding campaign fails, you won’t see new HASTE until 2016 - without superior software it will be much more difficult to create better destructions; our 3d-artist is making all the models on toaster (quite literally - his computer is unable to run DooM 3); as for me - I’m creating new beautiful locations and planning which cool ideas should stay in the game and which should rest for our next project’s time.
If you really like our game, if you want to get it on Steam sooner, if you want us to make it better, if you want to take part in development of HASTE - please, help us with our Indiegogo campaign. We won’t buy new cars for your money - we will spend them on things that help develop the game faster: faster Internet connection, few more gigs of RAM, a bit faster hard drives, experienced animator, few weeks on the sound studio and other small aspects that have the ultimate affect on development process.
Seriously, I keep personal responsibility for our game’s success and quality. I want to make it as good as possible. And we will make it as good as possible, but without your support it could take much more time.
Thanks for your attention. Have a nice day and again, Happy New Year.
Eugene, team leader of VR-Gamers - creators of HASTE (Time-bending action).
