So first off-
What is Starfall?
Starfall is a fangame for Astromeda by Liran Kamisa.
It's a prequel that follows the story of Per, and his mission to assemble a team that can stand a chance against the recently turned evil queen.
When will it come out?
Sometime in the next 24-56 centuries!
(Actually I'm aiming to have this release before the main game comes out but its definitely a "we'll see what happens" kind of thing).
How long will it be?
I'm aiming to have it be around the size of a Deltarune chapter, so longer than the demo for the main game but shorter than a full game.
But it's still really early in development so who knows! Maybe it'll become a fully fledged game!
What engine are you using?
Godot 4.
Will the game be available on Mac and Linux?
I'm focusing on Windows but maybe it'll get a Linux release after launch, although it's unlikely.
There definitely will not be a Mac release.
How many Soccer balls will be in this game?
More than you can hold in your mouth! (Which is hopefully zero.)
How will this game be structured?
The game will be divided into 4 chapters, each corresponding to a member of Stardom.
What is this game inspired by?
This game is directly inspired by @Catodio
's mod that lets you change characters between John and Per in battle. It's also heavily inspired by Undertale Yellow!
What resolution will the game be?
The game will run at 1280x720p, but zoomed in 2x so the final result is a 640x360p that looks bigger.
This also means that the game will be in a widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio, which lets me do a lot of cool stuff, and means no black bars!
Will the character Actobacter appear in the game?

(Probably not)
Something really cool about this game is that when it comes out it will be ENTIRELY OPEN SOURCE!
This means that anyone can open up all of the code and see exactly how I made everything. And not just that, my computer is prone to crashing so I upload a lot of backups to github.
When the game comes out I'll set the repo to public which means you'll be able to download the code FROM ANY POINT IN TIME IN THE DEV PROCESS.
I know most people probably won't care too much but having a game do this would've been a huge help for me learning godot.
Well that concludes this devlog! Have a nice day!
