Hello everyone. I already said this before, but I wanted to talk some more about it. I released the 2nd chapter of my stupid game Disappointment Simulator. I would highly encourage you to go download it now. I put a lot of effort into this dumb project.


This game (at least code and layout parts of it) represents my style of developing better than anything else, as it is essentially a game speed run I made for the sake of having SOMETHING out there under my name. And for fun. This project is not to be taken literally by any means, and is a total joke. But anything helps, and I would appreciate if anyone who plays and likes the game would spread the word to others. Thanks! Sorry if I’m being a bit pushy with this one, but I would really love it if you’d try out the game. This project was a blast to make, and new chapters are still coming out.

PS: no this is definitely not replacing corrupted files as my main project, it’s literally just a ridiculous randomness collection I made of stuff that my twisted sense of humor finds hilarious.

Chapter 2 on the way! Im using this game as a recharger to make random stuff before I move back to corrupted files. Chapter 2 will be longer than chapter 1, and hopefully thatll make up for the huge file size. Make sure to play chapter 1 now!

Disappointment Simulator Chapter 3: Boe Jiden is out, along with a handful of minor updates to the rest of the game. It’s pretty short, but all 3 chapters make a unique experience. Like 3 people have downloaded the game, so I recommend y’all try it out.

Still not happy with the state of the demo, so I am currently uploading a new update (0.3) which includes:

Bug fixes, environmental improvements, added easter eggs, new soundtrack, pause menu, and master volume slider. Engine Version updated to 5.6
