PART 1: Game progress.
Plot: The plot for Old Home is practically completed at this point, with only a few loose ends needing to be filled. One side mission idea is also completed, and we may add another in too.
Sprites: Thanks to our 3 amazing sprite artists, the sprite work is going really well! Good progress has been made on overworld character sprites, and we now have two Old Home enemy encounters planned! (The new enemy will be shown off at the end of the update!) However, since we are mostly working on character sprites, we have yet to begin work on the tileset for Old Home. However, fret not! Work may begin on it once at least some more main character designs have been completed.
Programming: Great news! We've finally got ourselves a new programmer! (They are not online on Discord, so I do not have their username yet. When they tell us, I will edit this post and add it in!) Now that we've got roughly enough experience combined, construction of the basic game's outline will begin soon!
Music: This is the only front we're not so good on, since composer is the only role that has yet to be filled. If any composers see this and are willing to help, please reach me on Discord or through Email!
PART 2: Thank You (Again.)
I just can't express enough for how grateful I am that this project has blown up to be as big as it is! I thought I'd never get here just a week ago! Big thanks to everyone on Team Saffron for helping put the game together, and a huge thanks to you all for showing interest and keeping us going! Thank you everyone!
PART 3: Sprite Reveal.
