Game
Sonic BREAK

Hello lovely people of GameJolt! It's been an little since I spoke about Sonic BREAK. I'll like to share what I've been up to!

Will the game be releasing sometime soon?

Well... No. I'm still working on the games Prologue Chapter, which will than be released to an demo called, "Sonic BREAK: The Prologue Demo." The demo won't take long to beat and no a lot of area's will be accessible, but I'll be adding collectibles like Art people made for the game (like fanart) or some concept art. But other than that, it won't be coming out anytime soon.

Planned platforms to support the game

Well, I've been planning on trying to put this game on mobile and WebGL. The mobile will take an bit to do, but the WebGL will come out alongside the normal Windows and Apple builds. There will also be Xbox controller support for the game.

The BREAK Engine

Within working in Unity, I will also provide an build of my Unity file and an test hub that features most of the Sonic BREAK mechanics. It'll help people who want to make an game in the style of Sonic BREAK. You'll just need some basic knowledge of Unity and Bolt (An visual scripting tool that's free) and your good to start customizing it!

End
I am hoping to get this done as soon as possible, but it'll be an while until I can get it done. There's just so much I want to do with this game! But, until next time! Thanks for reading!

Here's what I have for the title screen so far. I also found out that the Unity Recorder is way better to use than OBS since it records individual frames. No more weird recordings!

I-Impossible! There's more!

2D Platformer I made using Sunnyland assets, and also added the GameJolt API for trophies and such.

What if Sonic.exe was Sega official:

"Finally! My masterpiece is complete! Sonic will be obliterated!"

Tangle and Whisper finally have voices

and they are PERFECT

Worked on a volume & save system for the volume slider.

I did a little more work today, adding transitions to the free-roam and then transitioning into the nightshift.

The blue blur.

Making some more progress on stuff. This is a showcase on what the death sequence will look like (somewhat)
