Jone & Friends 1 Final Update

Unfortunately, the final update for Jone & Friends 1 won't be released immediately. @Golden-Vins-Gaming has had to take some time off recently and won't be back until the end of March, which has necessitated a reorganization of the schedule.

That said, we're very close to the end, only a few rendered images and some frames remain to be added or improved on his end.

Whatever happens, this update will be released. It's better to wait a little longer and offer something solid than to rush the release.

Jone & Friends 2... where does development stand?

While waiting for Golden Vins to return to finalize the J&F 1 update for the public, I'll continue working on Jone & Friends 2. This project represents a real challenge, but also a great source of motivation: it's the first time I'm truly continuing the series, and the motivation is definitely there. You can expect an adventure that's both fun and terrifying.

As for communication, the teasers will be different from what you've seen before. Everything is prepared in advance, but some previews will be released as the game progresses.

The Future of Jone & Friends

• A planning for the future of the series has already been shared (https://gamejolt.com/p/hello-to-all-the-members-of-the-jone-friends-community-to-finish-q9hzwymj), and believe me: what's coming next looks very interesting.

• Numerous spin-offs and games related to the franchise are planned. They will enrich the lore of the universe, in the form of episodic projects, but always with significant narrative importance.

• Regarding the main games: the complete lore for Jone & Friends 3 has been written for some time now, as has that of J&F 2, and I'm very proud of it.

Jone & Friends movies?

Jone & Friends movies are currently being considered (especially the first film), but the project is serious. The goal would be a trilogy, faithful to the spirit of the games, while offering slightly different concepts and approaches.

This time, everything would be done in 3D animation, to offer a new vision of the universe.

Other ongoing projects

Alongside Jone & Friends:

• I'm continuing to work on OWaM: Trulymastered (by @lazylimabean987), to keep this old-school, nostalgic scratch games series alive, there is the link for those who are interested: https://gamejolt.com/games/yahitsrewindtime/1002767

• The Excidium project (the movie based on Exorcque) is also progressing, particularly with the script. I'm also preparing an important oral presentation for an exam in May (I explained it in this post: https://gamejolt.com/p/guys-we-are-glad-to-unveil-the-official-logo-for-our-upcoming-proj-3zjfiiqk), which requires a lot of work (and a bit of stress, wish me luck ).

All of this means that Jone & Friends 2 probably won't be released this summer, but rather next year or later, to ensure high quality.

Sorry for the delay in updating Jone & Friends 1 and the progress on Jone & Friends 2. But I promise you: it be like that, and it's worth the wait. If you have any questions about the projects or anything else, feel free to ask, I'm here.
