Years ago, there was a marionette who served at this place. Its purpose was to watch over the children, to keep them safe from harm, and to protect them from any unwelcome strangers. One day, though, the doors to this restaurant closed after a tragedy. The marionette lay abandoned for years in a dark and dusky room. How it longed to be upright again. It missed hearing the children laugh and play, and comforting them. It wanted to cry, but it knew no tears could come from metal. Time passed without measure and the marionette lay forgotten, until one day by chance a man came inside of the restaurant and found it. The man saw the marionette, but he didn't focus on it too much. Until the marionette started to tell him a story of one of the children it previously knew.
One that was taken away from the rest of its family. The child was lured into the backroom of the restaurant by someone who worked at the restaurant, possibly, where another wicked, selfish man kidnapped the child, and murdered it in cold blood. But no trace of the child's body was found, and no signs of blood were found, either. Almost like he just disappeared without a trace. The man started panicking, becoming more and more nervous by the minute.
He cried out in fear and pain, saying that something was tormenting him. Something unholy. Something repulsive. Something so ghastly...that looked like it crawled out of the depths of hell itself. The man collapsed on his knees, giving into whatever visions he saw, and rose up, immediately leaving the marionette. In the next few days, the man had vanished without a trace, too. No one ever heard nor saw the man ever since. And no one ever found the body. And now, the lonely Marionette lies here, waiting desperately, for another visitor to come to them.
