He's whole origin is that he and his science partner, Dr. Owens, in the 80s were scientists that discovered magic in the world of my game.
He had a piece of dark energy attach to his face and that caused his brain to eat away at itself. He then lashed out one day in 86 and got pushed into a dimensional portal sending him to the Dark kingdom.
When there he became their king. He was brutal, but fair in a way.
That dark energy soon spread to his arm and possibly in the future will spread more.
