How's The Game Goin'?

Although this game was first put in production in March 2024, it hasn't been touched again since May of this year in favor of the first Night at Nuggit's.

But here's the exciting thing! Progress has been going fantastically, and a large portion of the game has been worked on already! Mind you it hasn't yet been beta tested, so I don't want to say that large portion is finished quite yet, but I am hopeful as I am loving how it's coming out so far!

I've even been so lucky as to have some awesome peeps from the Chikn Nuggit community lend a hand in this project! I'll keep who they are a secret for now, but I am so grateful that they'd wanna help! The support from you all remains incredible and I will always appreciate all of you!

Now, why has progress been going so quick? Well, most of it is motivation. Working on this is a total bwast blast, and I can't wait to provide more Nuggit's to you wonderful people! However, another part of it is what I will go through next:

Brush Up on Dweadful Dinin'

I would like to be clear on what Dweadful Dinin' is, as I do not want to disappoint y'all. I know I have already stated a bit of what to expect, but I feel it's good to reiterate it.

So you know exactly what this game will be about, here's the details:

• Dweadful Dinin' is a side game. It is not a direct sequel to Night at Nuggit's. As such, Dweadful Dinin' is set to be a shorter game.

• The gameplay of Dweadful Dinin' is closer to a traditional Five Nights at Freddy's styled game. The main game has the amount of Nights that FNaF games usually have, rather than the first game's 10 Nights. Mechanics from the first game, such as Bezel Events and Dynamic Mechanics, will not return.

• This game will likely be easier than Night at Nuggit's. Although a good amount of characters remain present, their behaviors will be simplified. Despite this, I'm hopeful it will still provide a decent challenge.

• Although this is a shorter side game, it is still planned to be connected to the first Nuggit's when it comes to the story. Now, it's not an insane story or anything (just like the first game, the story is not a focus), but I do think it's going in an interesting direction you may not be expecting! I think.

That should clear everything up! Basically, this will likely feel like a game that should've released before Night at Nuggit's. Well, actually, that might've been the case if it wasn't put on hold...

And, remember, quite a few assets were reused/redrawn from this game to be used in Night at Nuggit's! Maybe you can spot 'em all on your playthrough?
