Hey, big news! Here's the August Devlog!


We now have a working platform engine made by @DaBestMarioPlayer ! This will allow me much more freedom with types of attacks, similar to @Blackerman 's fight. The platform sprites were made by me, using both Undertale and SMB1's platforms as reference.

In other news, phase 2 is done and phase 3's dialogue is complete. Some work still needs to be done for Mario's phase 3 sprites, though, and phase 3 attacks are only getting started. Hopefully the new platform engine will spark some new inspiration.

Next up

I've decided to put this project on hiatus for now. Because the Undertoad animated series isn't out yet, I don't know what the battle UI will look like, and I don't want to make a custom one just to replace it when Season 1 releases. Hope you understand.

Game now has a NEW THUMBNAIL!!! I made this art over the course of a few days, and I'm pretty proud of how it turned out. Unfortunately the final version had to be cropped a bit to fit the ideal size. Speculate all you like about the owners of the hands
