So, as you might've already heard I've been taking a bit of a break from development. This is a big project, and it's going to take a long time. And, for projects like this, it's good to take a break now and then and pour your energy into other things too.
That being said, I have still gotten some progress done since the last demos release.
I've finished the first cutscene after the bus trip at the end of the previous demo, and designed a couple of NPC's for the sidequest, as well as the building they're in.
I've also made a couple songs, though I'm not 100% sure if they're final or anything.
I've also been reconsidering releasing another demo (or updated version of the current demo) before the full game is done. I think that I've been feeling a lot more pressure, mostly self-inflicted; and I think that maybe if I keep things quieter it'll be easier to focus on just making what I love instead of worrying as much about whether or not it's good enough.
Quieter development cycles might work best for me, but we'll see. I've had a lot of fun engaging with the "community" (my friends) and making the ARG puzzles have been a lot of fun! But I think that it's maybe stretched me a little thin, and made me feel more pressured and such?
I don't know what to do coming up with the ARG for GUIDANCE, or for future updates and releases, but I do plan to at least do these monthly devlogs to tell you where things are in development.
Hope you enjoy them, and you have a good one. ^.^
Also I only said I don't know what to do next for the GUIDANCE ARG...
