Levity Fleet Classic

Hey everyone, quick update again. After tinkering with Levity Fleet 4 more, I finally added in the screen shake effect for two bosses ingame. I hope that'll be the last change I implement for the game.

The elemental weapons for the heroes, much closer to what the original Levity Fleet cast had. However, these powers will help the player get through some tough battles far easier.

This might not be much of a step up from the earlier sprites, but this is Gallant given some 16 bit colors and shading along with more animation frames. I'm hoping that'll help make Levity Fleet 5 be slightly better, look forward to it.

These are the Proloids and Bordones from the first three games. Sure they look very simplistic, but they look so much better in 16 bit. A big step up from the 8 bit sprites that couldn't be seen well in dark backgrounds.

The default weapons for the heroes, half of them have rapid fire while two have a charged shot and two have a three hit melee combo. Definitely unique and different from what their predecessors had, and far more energy efficient.

Here's an upcoming upgrade for the six Buildoids. That's right, they'll be able to slide and fit in tight passages just like their Frutoids counterparts. I'm hoping to implement that in Levity Fleet 3.

After some failures with game design, I've returned back to the drawing board yet again. Speaking of drawing board, I created some new ninja heroes for my upcoming redo of Erratic Fable, and these happen to be the heroes and villains of said game.

These are prototype sketches of how the Proloid Scalpel looked during 2017. I could've worked on and finished Levity Fleet 1 during 2018, yet I felt conflicted feelings and was unsure of my future. Now there's four games for Levity Fleet, so much better!

With every video game comes a hero and a villain. Cable Doll's villain is gonna be named Boss Spite, and she's the second sprite on this sheet. Spite will be the main antagonist of Cable Doll, and her plan involves stealing energy.

A big change from the tiny sprites I usually draw, we finally have some pixel art for Steel Maiden. Might not be amazing, but still looks great anyway.

These are the minibosses of Creature Quest, sure some have been recycled from Steel Maiden, but most are totally new. Yet they're programmed to function well in a topdown game, making for a somewhat fun challenge.
