Underbattle 3

Hey guys, another long day of working on Underbattle 3! I've made some decent progress today which you can read up below.

  • bugs fixed

    • collisions of the player won't be noticed continously unless the colliding object moves

  • improvements

    • made the attacks move by changing the position instead of using rigidbodies => slightly better performance by removing useless physik functions

  • changes

    • improved the user interface by making the FPS-text smaller and also adding "FPS: " to make it clear what the number indicates

I also decided to not post updates everyday but less frequently like every second or third day because it always takes so long to write these posts for only showing a few changes to the game.

Did you miss out on any of the games we highlighted from Steam Next Fest? They're all listed in the article. Check out their demos before Next Fest ends!

Hey, sorry for not being online for long, I had stress with school. Here's what me and my friend achieved in the meantime:

- simple dialogue system

- tilemap and very simple world generation

Hey guys, just wanted to tell you that Squizzle Early Access is now available on the Play Store!

It contains only 2 demo levels so it's kinda small but I'm actively working on more levels and also have plans to work on other worlds to!

Akatori is an epic metroidvania where you wield your staff to fight, jump, and explore diverse realms across different eras.

It's also one of the games that's part of Steam Next Fest!

Hey, here is a clip showing everything I already did for the game.
