Hey, hey, hey. It's May!

It's time for the May devlog!

So let's first start off with some updates from last month's devlog.

Last month I talked about how going foward I was planning to structure out the work to try be more efficient with my work and get the demo out before the end of this year, well I do come with bad and good news.

The good news is that the demo is progressing steadily, the bad news is that "before the end of this year" release goal is in no way possbile unless I commit every waking minute of my life to this project, and with college and my own personal sanity in mind, I decided to make the dates by things need to be complete by a little less strict. If there's anything I learned about how I create throughout the last month or so is that I get sidetracked very easily from the task at hand when I have an idea that I find interesting. I actually almost missed my first deadline for this month because I was off trying out different things and ideas, so think that making the deadlines less tight will give me more time to not only get things outside of this project done, but it will let me get at least a little bit sidetracked and still be on pace to meet my deadlines.

In other news, after I had finished working on one of the parts of the first dungeon, I had a great idea for something I wanted to include in the demo. Obviously I won't talk much about that here 'cause that would spoil a neat idea for the demo, so you'll just have to look forward to the demo's release.

Honestly, not much to talk about in this devlog other than the release window changing. I'm probably gonna start doing these devlogs on the final day of every month that way there'll be a little more I can add to each one.

Stay Safe, and good night

Yes, I know how to spell.

Bandana Dee the Dream Friend

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

Chiaki Nanami!

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!
