clarifications/rules:
1) i will not take into account super ultra hard insane fangames cause i don't like to spend 7 hours into learn a flying bones pattern lol so there are fangames like sansfell fight that i do not consider.
2) i will qualify the games for it's: grafics/visual, story/logic, gameplay and content/originality.
3) The order of the games has nothing to do with their quality or which ones I consider best.
Nothing more to say... let's begin!
-Undertale: Underfell (@TeamUF ):
The first thing that i'm gonna say about this fangame is that it maintains the style of undertale with good visual details, i could think that this is a toby fox's work. About the story, i don't see anything bad, i like the personality of flowey and toriel and nothing feels out of place. The gameplay is good, great design of the battles and there is only one puzzle that seemed far-fetched to me. The game just have a demo that is half of the ruins (i don't know if it's stills in development btw), it does not have so much content but if we want to squeeze it more we can take others paths,
you can try killing flowey or sparing him.
There is original stuff, the game haves it's own jokes that i think are fine and it has some good details.
I think that you should give it a try to this game cause it has its own personality and it deserves more support.
-TC Underfell (@Team-Colossus ):
This fangame stills in development, and luckily! Just the mini demo looks great in all the aspects, i love the design of all the world and characters, just flowey looks a little weird lol. The characters are okay, i like the personality of the fallen human, i love his attitudes, flowey it's good too and i liked the history. The gameplay it's incredible, the game is fluent all the time and the combats are very dinamic (the puzzles are okay too). I was surprised that for a mini demo it has many details and references that I loved so much, the humor and jokes are good, it reminds me of the essence of toby fox, and finally, it has a few new mechanics that are good
for example, flowey can heal you every turn.
I really would like if you guys play this game, it has a lot of future and i'd if it comes, go and give it some support!
-Underfell: One hell of a show (@loganvcairns ):
This fangame is being very recognized recently, and with good reasons, the art and designs of the characters is very original and it looks very good. The story obviously is not too complex but the actions of the characters doesn't seem to be forced and it maintains part of the undertale personality of them (i loved flowey and mettaton). The gameplay is the best, the battles will never be repetitive in any moment and it's not so hard to get tired of it but also It's not so easy to pass it in 2 attempts. The game is too original, i loved the mechanics about flowey and the long list of new attacks, you can pass the game in many ways
not including the routes that you can do.
You can even select the level that you will be on the battle if it's too hard! And finally, it take advantage of two of the characters less used on fangames: Mettaton and Alphys
I'd like to do a mention of the soundtrack, the song of mettaton was my favourite but all of them are incredible.
You should play this fangame, it's simply art.
-Underfell: Might of the King's Blade (@MusicMakerMetal ):
The sprites of this fangame are good, the only problem i have is that it abuses a lot of the fireballs in the attacks, i would like another things (like more attacks with the trident). I like the story and the ends that you can get, the participation of flowey and the player is very good, and the little references of the dialogues. The battle sometimes feels repetitive
cause the attacks are repeated faster the less life Asgore has
but it's almost not noticeable,
i loved the finale attack, it reminds me to sans (duh).
Probably this is the fangame with less content of this list, but that is because it's just one battle, but despite that it can entertain you for a while
you can try to do the pacifist route or the genocide, and the variation of them
Also this fangame uses Asgore, that is another of the less used characters in fangames.
You should play this fangame cause there are not many fangames about asgore's fights.
-AMA!Underfell (@AMA-UNDERFELL)
This fangame is the vision of underfell from the creator, so there will be some things different...
the sprite designs of this game are very good, the only problem is that i think there are some characters and objects that don't fit on the scene and style of the game, but it's not so bad, there are very good designs. The story is very good, there are some new concepts that are a little strange but there are interesting things that make it not repetitive, there are a lot of new characters and i think the most of them are normal (cause they have just one dialogue) and just a few are very good (cause jokes). The gameplay is just perfect, good battles and attacks, the battles are very fluent and they are not boring (and the puzzles are good too). finally, this game innovate a lot, there are so much things new, mechanics, zones, characters and more, i really don't want to tell so much about it cause i will ruin the experience but this fangame is very different to the others of underfell, and to be a demo it's very complete.
That one was the last fangame, remember the rules, there are a lot of fangames that i do not take into account. Let me know if do you like one of this fangames and recomend me more fangames if you want to.
