Hello everyone! Sadly, I wasn’t able to get the update out. I feel like releasing it now wouldn’t go down well. There is +10 minutes of gameplay at best. So therefore I’m trying to find ways to lengthen the time.

However, about the fantasy-like rooms dillema I had. I’m sifting through the entirety of the game’s maps and redesigning them. I’ve completely changed the old girl’s lavatory and replaced it with the new one. I’m looking forward to replacing all the walls and floors with different tiles also.

I really wanted to get this out by the 14th but I feel it’s still not ready. Maybe I shouldn’t have redone the chapters? Maybe I shouldn’t have added the script that caused me to lose time? I’m not sure.

On a better note, I’m going to be adding more trophies to the game (even though they’re practically useless because the input profile is bugged). These trophies will correlate with:

  • All of Naomi’s hanging outcomes.

  • All of Satoshi’s drowning outcomes.

  • The secret Chapter 3 ending! (After obtaining a secret item)

  • Killing a boss (Only for the RPG ver.)

  • Partying with a each secret. (1 per Chapter)

Despite this, I’ll be taking a two-week break from CPEA because I’m going on holiday. I’ll be back in July.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
