Q. Will Act 1 be free?
A. Yes. As with the previous released build, it will be completely free.

Q. Is it a demo?
A. Yes. HorrorVale is not an “episodic” game. Act 1 is just a snippet of the full game, allowing you to enjoy the entire first Act of the game while you wait for the rest of the game be completed.

Q. Will all the Acts be released separately?
A. No. As stated above Act 1 is just the first Act of the game, and will still be part of the finished game. An episodic style RPG sounds like a nightmare.

Q. Can I use previous saves?
A. Yes, but it is highly unrecommended and will cause major game breaking bugs.

Q. Will I be able to use Act 1 saves in the full game?
A. Same as above. Even Act 1 may be changed heavily in the full game.

Q. Are there any more party members in Act 1 than the first Demo?
A. There is one more.

Q. Will any of the contest of the characters be in Act 1?
A. All of the winners of the previous contest will as per the rules. A few of the other contest winners may as well.

Q. What about Patron characters?
A. Most of those are party members and are planned for future Acts. The others wouldn’t fit as well in the Act 1 setting.
