so I'm about done with my second playthrough of pokemon platinum and I was thinking "I want to play as cynthia for my next playthrough" and by that I ment play with her team. however I noticed that aquiring her team would be a pain in the ass. here's why

budew: pretty easy to come by, hell you can even get a roselia later if the friendship evolution is too hard for you

gible: can be obtained a little bit after the second gym, or you can get a gabite on victory road

riolu and togepi: you get both as eggs, togepi a little after the second gym, and riolu after beating iron island

this is where shit goes off the wall

spiritomb: put the odd keystone in that statue and interact with 30 people in the underground...are there even people down there anymore?

but that is nothing NOTHING compared to feebas

to get feebas you must go to a specific room in mt coronet and fish, any rod will do. doesn't sound that bad right? WRONG! feebas only spawns in 6 random tiles that change every day! how many tiles are there? 538! oh and ON TOP OF THAT on the 6 tiles where they CAN spawn they are a 6% encouncer rate WHAT THE FUCK! AND IT GETS WORSE THAN THAT! once you actually GET the damn fish you have to max out it's beuty stat in order to evolve it, which involves a TON of grinding for berries. fuck this fish and every step it takes to get one

I looked at feebas's encounter method and gave up right there, spiritomb sounded hard enough but feebas/milotic took the cake if I ever try the cyinthia challenge I'm either going on the GTS or cheating to get a milotic and spiritomb...or wait until home compatability and BDSP one of the two
