Technically she still is a lesbian but that relationship was actually quite a long. Also the girl she was dating? Dead, the second victim of mk3. At the time Jack and Rosa were really good friends but it hadn't gotten to that point, mk3 came from europe when it and it's brotheren escaped 4 years ago, Jake had been married since he was 16. Laws where he lived made the legal age to be independent 16. He had a wife and a child.

There's a reason no one had heard from him, only their parents knew and they're dead. Pretty much all of Jake and Rosa's relatives are dead besides their sisters.

Hell Rosa doesn't even know her parents are dead, she just though they just forgot about her, with her sisters being big shots and all. They never cared too much about Jake and Rosa. Jake was a genius, sure, but they never fed into it, Rosa did. Rosa is the second oldest in their family with Jake being the youngest

Anyways, back on track

Jake out of all the characters has to deal with the most trauma and guilt, an estimated 100 people have died at the hands of his creations. And with him being responsible for poking too deep in the cave he awoke the piece of Peisma in their world. Doing so gave him enough power to break somewhat free from the void and was able to gain access to their world.

All he needed to do was latch onto Jake and then his creations and then he could start doing the framework for his plan.

And when a bit of him came with Jake to where Jack lives, all he needed to do was find a safe place and grow that piece of him into a worthy vessel and then he can do what must be done.

Up until the final battle is where God had written up to.

Whoever wins that battle, The ancestors or Peisma, will decide the fate of everything.
