Close to the boulevard, in the shadow of bushes bordering the square, theres hide the memorial stone erected for the 100th anniversary of the People’s Theater. On either side of the 180-centimeter-high monument we can look wolfish in the iconic cheerful and sad theatrical masks. Its face-to-face inscription lists the most famous actors of the building, which also houses the National Theater. Unfortunately, however, due to its central location, the memorial stone is often taunted by vandals with their scribbles.
